- the newspaper  - some guy * (Sun, 06 Sep 2009) First recording of full first movement of Rachmaninoff piano concerto no 2 has been made. Also made a nifty loop based on the score of the 3rd concerto. * (Fri, 14 Aug 2009) Why not upgrade to a fancy ass PHP/MySQL content editor? I will design one I'm sure but I kind of like having to manually edit files to create content. Gives it a sense of permanence that a simple SQL database corruption won't swipe all my content. Only hardware failure can do that. And in the area of hardware I got a new laptop (MSI GX620-001US) for $864. It would have been $814 except that MSI does not honor their mail-in rebates (apparently they were confused and thought I had already submitted it and by the time they caught the error it was too late to redeem the rebate) but the nice folks at NewEgg gave me a 20$ coupon out of sympathy. The laptop is the shiz though. I also got a Roland FP5 digital piano and will post some recordings on it soon. As a result, I am serious about selling my Rhodes Mark 1 Stage 88 (a vintage keyboard) in excellent condition. So, write me with any interesting offers.
